My Kodak gave up on me after 10 years loyal service, and I decided to try the Samsung, looks nice, nice and small with a big screen at the back and good size dials and buttons (very good when your wear glasses).
Very easy to use and takes 2 AA batteries which are cheap to buy, either rechargable or throw away type.
Battery life as good as kodak one and if you puchase rechargable (available at Amazon - any gifts from Amazon kindly accepted)your outlay is very small.
Takes a good photo very good for the price, very pleased with this purchase.

I've had this camera for nearly 6 months and it has already died on me. The photo quality is poor, the shooting modes are confusing, the facial detection seems to focus on everything but people's faces and the battery life is short. I spent over £100 on this camera under the (false) assurance that it was high quality - yet here I am, 6 months down the line, having to buy a new camera! Avoid this one!

This camera is an updated version of a previously owned camera. The controls are self explanatory and it is easy to use producing clear photographs. The large screen / view finder is a boon.

Great wee camera. Useful as it needs ordinary batteries which are easy to find. Solid made and a good price.

This is a really good camera. I got it for Christmas and it is really good quality, the pictures aren't blurry at all. There are plenty of options and it is quite light to carry. I was very happy with it and would definitely choose it again. Unfortunately something happened to it (not sure what) and it broke.
Firstly the lens would not open properly or consistantly and when it did the camera would beep and turn off. But then after i replaced the memory card the screen did not show anything except blue and white lines. It does not turn off or on when i press the button.
